Small transaction roundup

TCDB seems to gravitate to small, PWE trades, at least among the people who have reached out to me for trades.

rl16 is a TCDBer and a blogger (All Cardinals All the Time), but this is our first trade. Most of what he sent me were needs for my 2021 set. My favorite here is the Dansby Swanson, with an interesting angle on a play at the plate. Play at the plate cards haven't really been the same since MLB started taking player safety more seriously.

He also surprised me with some 2022 needs and a 1997 Upper Deck need.
PaulGebauer and I did a little vintage trade. I got three nice 1970 cards, a Marichal All Star, Larry Bowa rookie, and Mickey Lolich high number.
I was able to score another quarter vintage card from eBay recently. Largely forgotten today, Johnny Klippstein was one of the best relievers of the 1950s and 1960s, and on this card was coming off a great season as the Twins' bullpen ace as they won the AL pennant.

  1. Given how much stamps now cost, I wonder how much longer people will keep listing items so cheap on eBay.

  3. Always happy to add a new card blog to my reading list. Can't believe it's taken me 8 years to discover All Cardinals All The Time

  4. I didn't realize rl16 on TCDb was the blogger behind 'All Cardinals All the Time', wow. Now I gotta go 'Friend' him and maybe even set up a trade. Nice haul, btw.
