Art on the back: 1963

After 1962's foray into "serious" cartoons, Topps brought back the silly in 1963. As you can see, ballplaying soldiers are once again armed with baseball bats instead of rifles. "Bang!"

One standby for Topps was cartoons introducing players to new teams. I liked the New York drawing for Norm Sherry, and the reference to Jack Kennedy on the Marv Breeding cards.

I don't have much from the '63 set - they seem to be harder to come by than any other post-'57 set - but here are a few other cartoons I liked.
