Time traveling through the decades

Matt of Diamond Jesters was the other person I accidentally sent cards to without a stamp. Fortunately those cards got there OK and I was able to complete another of his great Time Travel Trades. Here is what I got:

Starting with the old stuff: Irv Noren was a part of three World Series winners as a Yankee. Jim Wilson had a fine career after being hit in the head with a line drive early in his career and being told he could never pitch again. I picked that card for the great view of apartments out the window of the Polo Grounds. The Cardinals are my National League team so I don't mind them beating the Yankees in a World Series quite the way I would other teams, though they haven't faced each other in my lifetime.

Time jump to the 21st century with these cards, two of which are actually of 20th century players. All fun pickups though.

  3. I've never seen that Jim Wilson before, the background on it is really quite amazing for the time!
