Ten more cards for twelve years

When Dime Boxes had his big giveaway, I decided to take a look through after a week, figuring that maybe there would be some cards left unclaimed. There were lots left over, so I claimed a few more.

Starting off with Topps. A '75 mini, John Kruk, A&G - how did these go unclaimed? And I had never heard of either Topps Black & White or Chrome Cosmic before (I think I saw Cosmics on Johnny's blog, don't remember if they were Chrome, and I thought this was a Topps Fire card before looking it up, they basically look very similar.)

Some other leading brands. How did a Roberto Clemente go unclaimed? Maybe people are starting to get tired of the Pacific set.
No envelope from Nick would be complete with out some oddballs. The Eckersley card is Mothers Cookies, of course, but the other A's card, John Jaha, is after the Mother's era, and is actually sponsored by a plumbers and steamfitters union. There is also a Brewers police card sponsored by Cher-Make, which appropriately enough for Milwaukee is a sausage company, nearing it's 100th year of operation.

  1. I went back to see what was left, too. There wasn't much that interested me. I've got the '75 mini already.

  2. Nice Eck. Always fun to see Mother's Cookies SGA cards pop up on blog posts.

  3. I think most of the folks who like, and are still interested in, the Pacific Legends sets already have them completed.
