Continuing the theme of spring training for the 1969 expansion teams, here is Royals pitcher Dave Morehead at Terry Park. As you can see right there on the scoreboard, the field is located in Fort Myers. Nice Coca-Cola sign there as well. The park opened in 1925 as the spring home of the Philadelphia A's. The Indians and Pirates later trained there before the Royals came in from 1969-1987. The park has been remodeled but is still used today for college baseball.
