Player Profile: Adam Brown

I have one card of Adam Brown, from 1990 CMC.

Playing career: Catcher Adam Brown played nine seasons in the Dodgers, Cubs and Reds organizations. In 572 games he hit .294 with 51 HR and 303 RBI. A fuller account of his career can be found at The Greatest 21 Days.

Where he is now: Owns A.C. Electrical in Monroe, GA.

My memories: Only know him from his card.

Google Autocomplete results: He is fifth when you type Adam Br, between Adam Bryant, an author, and Adam Braff, a screenwriter. There are no references to the ballplayer on the first page of Google results; most refer to a Navy SEAL killed in Afghanistan.

Coming up next: The next profile will be Adrian Brown.
