Wallet Card at the former Royal Pizza

Four years ago I showed the 1970s-era privilege sign for Royal Pizza, one of the last of its kind in New York City. About a year ago, the pizza place changed its sign to a boring modern one. Perhaps not coincidentally, it went out of business shortly after. The new sign is down now, revealing another sign underneath that is probably 100+ years old. (The building, 592 3rd Avenue, was built in 1900.) Can't quite make it out unfortunately  - "Quartz"? Still, it's an intriguing glimpse into the early 20th century.
