Vintage backgrounds: A Polo Grounds sighting in 1969 Topps

The Polo Grounds was torn down in April of 1964, but five years later you still had at least one photo in that venerable stadium showing up in the Topps set. Ellis pitched for the Angels in 1968 after pitching for the Reds from '62-'67. Topps wasn't getting many new pictures of players after 1965, but this is one of their more egregious examples of using a photo that was way out of date.
