The front: Nice, simple shot, waiting for the pitch to be
thrown.
The back: Thirteen years in the major leagues didn’t leave
room for a blurb.
The player: Money played in sixteen seasons for the Phillies
and Brewers. A four-time All-Star, he had his best seasons in Milwaukee,
including leading the AL in at bats in 1974. Overall in 1,720 games he hit .261
with 176 HR and 729 RBI.
The man: Money has had a long career in baseball, currently
as special instructor for the Brewers.
My collection: I have 18 of his cards, from 1974 to 1984. I
would be interested in trading for 1969 Topps #454, 1970 Topps #645, 1971 Topps
#49, 1972 Topps #635, and 1976 Topps #402.
