I have two cards of Josh Anderson. This one is from 2008 Topps Opening Day.
Playing career: Josh Anderson was an outfielder for the Astros, Braves, Tigers and Royals from 2007 to 2009. In 486 at bats he hit .272 with 4 HR, 47 RBI and 36 SB.
Interesting fact: This is my 1000th blog post. Anderson's 1000th professional hit was his last in the major leagues - on October 2, 2009, an RBI single off of Ron Mahay.
Where he is now: He played in the minor leagues in 2010 but not this year. He did have a baseball camp in Kentucky in February.
My memories: Never heard of him until I got his card.
Google Autocomplete Results: He is eighth when you type Josh An, between Josh and Sam, a 1993 movie, and Josh Angulo, a professional windsurfer. Another prominent Josh Anderson is a photographer in Nashville.
