Football, Kelloggs and Mauer

I got a nice package of bingo winnings from Johnny's Trading Spot. Johnny always has some fun prizes in these games.

2002 Topps Joe Mauer rookie card. I already have this so it is available for trade.

Some 1979 Kellogg's commons. These are the ones available for trade. Big names include George Foster, Frank Tanana, and a mustache-free Dwight Evans. Card #s 3, 6, 26, 27, 31, 32, 33, 36, 38, 41, 43, 47, 51, 53, 54, 55, 58, 59, 60 for those of you working on a set.
These are my keepers. My favorite of course is the Chris Chambliss but they are all fun cards.
Also some keepers are these random football cards. Some nice cards in here including two Elways and two McNairs.

  1. wonderful prizes there, esp the 79 Ks! I only need one - card 1 Sutter. I'm still looking for a perfectly fresh and bright copy. Fridays just aren't a good night for fun and games. John's been very generous.

  2. You might want to hang onto that Mauer for a little bit. If he ends up in the HOF, you'd probably be able to get a lot more trade value out of it, or at least that's what I've been able to gather.

    1. Agree with Jon. Seems like the Topps base card rookie cards have really soared in popularity in recent years.

  3. I haven't gotten into my '79K wants much, and I have several already. I know the Howell is needed and probably a few others. I'll have to get back to you.
