The 2010 Topps Vintage Legends set was yet another set of retired players in various old Topps designs. Card #17 featured Phillies star Mike Schmidt in the 1960 design. #17 in the actual 1960 set is Johnny Callison, newly arrived from the White Sox. Callison's 39.4 WAR is eighth all-time for the Phillies, and his 534 extra-base hits are tenth. Schmidt leads both categories (106.9 WAR, 1,015 XBH). Schmidt also is the Phillies all-time leader for runs scored, total bases, RBI, walks, and various sabermetric categories, and is in the team's top ten in almost every offensive category. One area that Callison does have Schmidt beat is triples; his 84 rank sixth on the team's all-time list. Schmidt hit "only" 59 in his 18 years with the team.
