Player Profile: Amador Arias

I have one card of Amador Arias, from 1991 Classic Best, where his name is misspelled Amadoz.

Playing career: Amador Arias was an infielder in the Reds organization from 1990 to 1996, hitting .252 and stealing 99 bases.

Where he is now: A scout in Venezuela for the White Sox.

My memories: Never heard of him until I got his card.

Google Autocomplete results: He is second when you type Amador Ari, between Amador Arizona, a real estate agency in Mesa, and Greg Amador Arizona, referring to a man in that state who killed a two-year-old. There do not appear to be any other prominent Amador Ariases.

Coming up next: The next profile will be George Arias.
