I have one card of Brandon Allen, from 2010 Topps Opening Day.
Playing career: Brandon Allen, a slugging first base prospect, had limited tours of duty with the Diamondbacks in 2009 and 2010.
Where he is now: Allen started the season at AAA Reno in the Diamondbacks organization. After hitting .306 with 18 HR and 66 RBI, he was traded to the A's organization for pitcher Brad Ziegler at the trade deadline. At AAA Sacramento, he is 2-15 with a HR in four games. He hit the home run yesterday in a 2-1 win at Omaha.
My memories: Had not heard of him before getting his baseball card.
