Bruce Bochte #22, with bat of #6 (Ellie Rodriguez)
Pepe Frias #38, with bat #30 (Tony Scott)
Mike Sadek #3, with batting glove #21 (Ed Goodson). First one I've come across with one player wearing another's batting glove.Johnny Wockenfuss #45, with bat #44 Leon Roberts.
Skip Jutze #9, with bat #23 (Enos Cabell)
Here's the most interesting one. Jerry DaVanon #16, with bat #3 (coach Hub Kittle?) And, notice his pants compared to Skip Jutze's. No uniform number! I had a hunch of why this might be, and it looks like the facts bear me out. I wondered if he had just joined the team, and sure enough he was called up August 1, when the Astros were visiting the Giants. (The photo is in Candlestick Park). I am guessing that he didn't have his own bats yet, and they didn't have pants with his uniform number ready yet.
At least Jerry didn't have to borrow someone else's pants :)
