Most of the team sets in 1967 Topps have the team floating on a yellow background. Only the Braves team card has the full background. It looks fantastic and I which Topps had done that for all of the teams. Big missed opportunity there.
The Braves were preparing for their first year in Atlanta when this photo was taken, but they had been training at West Palm Beach since 1963. On the bottom right is the team's traveling secretary, Donald Davidson, the only man to work for the team in Boston, Milwaukee and Atlanta. I would have to think that Davidson, who appears on several team sets through the years, is one of, if not the only, little person to appear on a major league baseball card. (other than Eddie Gaedel)

Of course it's the Braves.....1966 (the year of the photo not the card year) was a GREAT year for Atlanta...... They got the Braves, the Falcons, and I was born in old Grady Memorial in 66'. Yes sir great year for Atlanta!
