Might have been a veterinarian if he hadn’t been an athlete:
Ryan planned to go back to school to become a vet at the beginning of his
baseball career, figuring he would only pitch for four or five years.
Pet peeve is unpolished shoes: Seems like a really picky pet
peeve.
Where he is now: He now sells Ryan Express Non-Tobacco Antioxidant Dip & Snack, and Nolan Ryan’s All-Natural Beef. Ryan even has a
blog about beef.
Non-Tobacco Antioxidant Dip? I'd say that just about captures the zeitgeist of this day and age. Ryan seems like the kind of guy who would have been successful in whatever endeavor he tried.
