The bag in the photo says Fashion Crossroads. The chain dated back to 1932 when it opened as Mode O'Day in Glendale, CA and pioneered the idea of manufacturing dresses and selling them direct to the customer. At its height it had over 800 locations. the name was changed to Fashion Crossroads in the 1980s to modernize its image. This location closed in 1995; by 2013 the chain was defunct, except for one location in Casper, WY where the franchisee bought out her agreement and keeps the Fashion Crossroads name.
