I'm always on the lookout for fence signs with old phone numbers. This is only the second one I've ever found. This was outside a commercial building in Lynbrook, NY. Ace Fence Co. in Franklin Square, NY. The phone number is for another town, neighboring Franklin Square: FLoral park 4-5114. There is currently an Ace Fence Co. located in New Hyde Park, which borders both of those towns, so it appears the company is still in business, with at least one fence still standing after 50+ years.
Says something about the quality of their fences then.
