This is not really a background item, I guess, but maybe still interesting. Gene Autry, the Singing Cowboy and co-owner of the Angels, is the man on the far left of the card. Towering over him is his business partner, Bob Reynolds, a former college football star and tackle for the Detroit Lions.
that's cool that autry is on the card. i was disappointed when i learned that the angels had played home games in dodger stadium for a couple seasons but then found no cards with the stadium in the background.
