Hobby is watching TV: On his 1991 Studio card he lists his
favorite show as In Living Color.
Favorite sports announcer is Chris Berman: Anthony and
Berman were two of the many cameos in the 1994 movie Little Big League.
Favorite players as a kid were Dave Winfield and Reggie
Jackson: Anthony grew up in the San Diego area when Winfield was a Padres star.
And as a big, free-swinging slugger he had a lot in common with both Winfield
and Reggie.
Might have been a singer if he hadn’t been an athlete: There
is no indication that he pursued a music career after baseball.
Where he is now: He has done some youth coaching in the
Houston area.
