1969 Topps Stamps

Another Topps stamp lot I picked up recently. 1969 stamps this time. These were stamped to sheets of paper, which made the decision for what to do with them a little tricky - because one of the sheets was stamped on both sides. I picked the side that seemed the less stuck-on and found the stamps all came off easily, which is nice for stamps that had been stuck on for over 55 years. However, because they had been stuck on for so long, they curled a fair amount after I removed them. I decided to leave the rest stuck on and just cut them out.

I had a few already, including some of the biggest names, but needed most of them. If there are any you are interested let me know and I'll tell you if they're available. A couple are already on their way to another trader.

Starting off with a page dominated by some top-flight pitching.

This was the page I peeled the stickers from. Couple of big stars next to each other in the middle.
Breaking out the big guns on this last page. I needed Morgan and McCovey but Banks and Clemente are both available.
Finally, a few blank stamp albums as I slowly accumulate these.

  1. Some big names here. Clemente is a great piece of trade bait and should bring you something nice in return.
