Hobbies are basketball, fishing, snorkeling and music: Alou
did not play organized baseball until college; basketball was the sport he
played the most growing up.
Alou and Pedro Martinez went fishing during together during
the 2013 All Star Week in New York.
Favorite player as a kid was his dad, Felipe: Felipe managed
his son with both the Expos and the Giants.
Where he is now: General Manager of Team Dominican Republic.
