Christian Friedrich on baseball cards

Christian Friedrich was the Rockies' first round draft choice in 2008, and made his big league debut in 2012, going 5-8 with a 6.17 ERA. He kindly answered my questions about baseball cards.

"I have always collected cards. Baseball, football and basketball. I have 3 desk drawers dedicated to them. One of my favorites is a Barry Zito card that is on my desk in Chicago under the desk glass. My favorite player to collect was Penny Hardaway."
