Player Profile: John Bale

I have one card of John Bale, from 2000 Fleer Tradition Update.

Playing career: Reliever John Bale pitched for the Blue Jays, Orioles, Reds and Royals in parts of seven seasons, going 3-7 with one save and a 4.66 ERA.

Where he is now: Anyone know where John Bale is now?

My memories: Only know him from his card.

Google Autocomplete results: John Bale Baseball is third when you type John Bale , between John Bale Hunting Season, referring to a screenwriter and his movie, and John Bale Geography, a professor at Keele University in England who studies the geography of sports. The most prominent John Bale was a 16th century bishop who wrote the oldest known historical drama in English.

Coming up next: The next profile will be Wladimir Balentien.

  1. He was on the Royals just a few years ago. He left to go play in Japan.

He had a card in the 2009 Upper Deck set.
