Brooks Kieschnick was the first round draft pick of the Cubs in 1993, and played four seasons in the major leagues as an outfielder. He then reinvented himself as a pitcher and pitched in two seasons for the Brewers. In 2003 he became the first player ever to hit home runs as a pitcher, a pinch hitter, and a designated hitter in the same season. He kindly replied to my question about collecting baseball cards.
"I used to collect a bunch. I have bins and bins of cards."
Thanks!
