Tim Adkins on baseball cards

Tim Adkins pitched in the Blue Jays, Yankees, Tigers and Reds organizations from 1992 to 2004, winning 39 games and saving 26. Now a scout for the Chicago Cubs, he kindly answered my questions about baseball cards. 
"I collected baseball cards as a child and my favorite two cards were Dave Concepcion and Joe Morgan. I was a huge Reds fan. Probably the thing I remember most was my first Fleer card, looking at it amazed that I had my own card. As a child I always dreamed of that."
