Robert Ramsay on baseball cards

Robert Ramsay pitched seven seasons of professional baseball, including 43 games for the Mariners in 1999 and 2000. Now an algebra teacher at Lake City High School in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, he kindly answered my questions about baseball cards.

"I will say the strangest request regarding signing cards was in Spring training of 2000 and a person sent me the cards of A-Rod to have me get his signature. I had to respectfully decline.

I used to collect cards when I was young and still have them for my sons if they ever get into the hobby, but I no longer collect."
