John Massarelli reveals a baseball card error

John Massarelli was a catcher and outfielder for ten years in the Astros, Marlins, Padres and Indians organizations. Now the manager of the Lake Erie Crushers of the Frontier League and owner of the Massarelli Baseball School in Akron, Ohio, he replied to my inquiry about his baseball card experiences with this note:

"1994 Ultra Fleer Kurt Abbot card is really an action picture of me with the Florida Marlins."

Thanks! As you can see, that is clearly Massarelli and not Abbott. (You can see Massarelli's photo on either link above).
