Brook Fordyce caught for ten years in the major leagues with the Mets, Reds, White Sox, Orioles and Devil Rays. His best year was 2000, when he hit .300 with 14 homers and 49 RBI for Chicago and Baltimore. Now the Head of Instruction and Director of Player Development at All American Prospects in Stuart, FL, he kindly shared with me this baseball card story.
"Funniest story: 1993 in West Palm, the old Braves spring training site, a little old lady demanded me to sign her Butch Huskey card. I told her several times I was not him. She refused to believe me. Please look at a Butch Huskey card."
