Cardboard Cousins: 2014 Archives/1973 Topps

#50 in each set; two of the greatest players of all time. In 1973, Major League Baseball created the Roberto Clemente Award recognizing players dedicated to improving their communities, after Clemente's tragic death in a humanitarian mission to Nicaragua. In 2009 Derek Jeter was the awardee in recognition of his Turn 2 Foundation, founded in the shortstop's rookie year of 1996.
