William Thompson - known as "Squeezer" due to his pet boa constrictor - pitched in the Padres organization from 1988 to 1990. In 26 games he went 2-7 with a 9.17 ERA, walking 87 batters in 69.2 innings. He was released in 1990 after displaying a profane hand gesture to some heckling fans. A fuller account of his career can be found at The Greatest 21 Days.
Esport was apparently some kind of sports apparel store - I could not find further information.
