Moving on to the 1988 set. I really like the borders in this design, and, though you can't tell from this one, the photos on the cards are much sharper and clearer. That is not my camera's flash obscuring the cutout of Chuck Yeager - that is what the card actually looks like.
Catcher Greg Conley played in the Padres and Indians organizations from 1988 to 1992. In 314 games he hit.222 with 8 HR and 94 RBI. He is now a youth baseball coach in Georgia. A fuller account of his career can be found at The Greatest 21 Days.
Microspace Computer Center must have been a very short-lived store - I can find no mention of it online. Chuck Yeager's Advanced Flight Simulator debuted in 1987 and almost immediately had to change it's name to Chuck Yeager's Advanced Flight Trainer due to a legal dispute with Microsoft. I guess Microspace never got an updated advertising piece. The game was considered a big hit, selling over 100,000 copies.
