Barry Lyons on baseball cards

Catcher Barry Lyons played parts of seven seasons in the major leagues, five of them with the Mets, with whom he won a World Series in 1986. In 253 major league games, he hit .239 with 15 HR and 89 RBI. Now a community ambassador for the Biloxi Shuckers, he kindly answered my questions about baseball cards.

"Unfortunately, I never collected nor do I deal with cards very much.

I have many of my own cards and I continue to get fan mail and sign and return cards constantly and sign occasionally at card shows."
