Vintage backgrounds: Royals Stadium Scoreboard

The Royals Stadium scoreboard, topped by the team's crown logo, features prominently on Jim Spencer's '76 card. This scoreboard debuted with the stadium's opening in 1973 and was replaced by an HD LED version in 2008.

    Very cool. I like it when I see cards like this, especially when it's of old Tiger Stadium.

    that's a great backdrop for photos. it was neat to see this scoreboard on the hank aaron 150 years of fun insert in last year's opening day release.
