Wallet Card at Manhattan Savings Bank

First off some sad news - RIP former Giants pitcher Bob Tufts, passed away at the age of 63. Tufts shared his thoughts on baseball cards with this blog in 2009.

Today's Wallet Card entry features The Manhattan Savings Bank. The bank was established in 1850 and had branches throughout Manhattan and beyond. It was acquired by Republic Bank (now HSBC) in 1993. You can still see the bank's name in a pedestrian tunnel from Grand Central under the bank's former headquarters at 52 Vanderbilt Avenue.
