Big progress on the mid-1970s

Picked up a big box of cards, probably close to 2,000, for $25. Lots of cards with creases and wrinkles, occasionally some rips or writing, but overall the cards were in decent, though definitely not mint shape. Still, for barely over a penny a card, it seemed like a pretty good deal.

Needless to say lots of dupes so if you have needs from 1974-1976 let me know. The box was probably 45% 1974, 45% 1975 and 10% 1976. As you will see from below there are a few stars that are up for trade.

The one annoying thing in an otherwise great purchase was the timing. Pretty much every card I had just gotten from Turrdog was in there (probably have at least one full set of 1974 Topps Traded in there). Also these two cards which I had recently gotten from Johnny's trading spot. Oh well, pretty good trade bait if someone needs them.
Happy to get these cardboard classics for a penny a card. Already had the Gamble so it is up for trade.
Some big name rookie cards. Penny a card!
Some big stars. Penny a card!
Hank Aaron! Penny a card! My first playing-days cards for him.
 Johnny Bench! Penny a card!
 Rod Carew! Penny a card!
Carlton Fisk! Penny a card! (There aren't many horizontal cards in '74, but the few that they printed that way look fantastic).
Bob Gibson! Penny a card! Already had the '74 so that is up for trade as is one of the '75s.
 Rich Gossage! Penny a card!
 Reggie! Penny a card!
 Harmon Killebrew! Penny a card!
 Willie McCovey! Penny a card!
 Brooks Robinson! Penny a card!
 Frank Robinson! Penny a card!
Pete Rose! Penny a card! Amazing how quickly I'm picking him up. Even got another to trade!
Nolan Ryan! Penny a card! Already had the '76 so that is up for trade.
 Willie Stargell! Penny a card!
 Carl Yastrzemski! Penny a card!
I'm sure many of you were wondering . . . yes, they were in there . . PENNY A CARD!
