Outfielder
Jim Rushford played eight seasons of professional baseball. He made the major leagues in 2002 with the Brewers, hitting .143 with 1 HR and 6 RBI in 23 games. He kindly answered my questions about baseball cards by sharing a picture and a story.
"This picture is on a baseball card.
It is my favorite because it was take just after I crossed home plate after hitting my one and only official Major League home run.
I hit it in Arizona off of Rick Helling on Friday September 13, 2002. I was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI's that day. It was a moment that I wish I could freeze in time."
Thanks!
