Terry Kennedy on baseball cards

Catcher Terry Kennedy played fourteen seasons in the major leagues, hitting .264 with 113 HR and 628 RBI. A four-time All-Star, he was a key member of two NL pennant winners in the 1980's. Now a scout for the Cubs, he kindly answered my questions about baseball cards.

"I was in the Major Leagues when Topps lost it's lawsuit and that really opened up the whole thing.  But then it became saturated and I feel it (baseball card business) has never recovered.

My favorite card was the one painted that was similar to the ‘50s kind of card."

Thanks!
