The front: Great action shot at Shea Stadium. He loved
hitting in the day at Shea that year. In eight day games at the Mets, he went 9
for 23 with 3 home runs. I wonder if this is one of those homers.
The back: Easler has been married to Brenda Johnson since
1971.
The player: Easler earned the nickname "Hit Man"
during his fourteen year major league career, hitting .293 with 118 home runs.
The man: He is now a leading youth hitting coach. He shared
his thoughts on baseball cards with this blog in 2009.
My collection: I have 33 of his cards, from 1978 to 1988. I
would be interested in trading for 1983 Fleer Star Stickers #80.
