Player Profile: Scott Bream

I have one card of Scott Bream, from 1991 Classic Best.

Playing career: Infielder Scott Bream played ten seasons in the minor leagues with the Padres, Cubs and Tigers organizations. In 769 games he hit .241 with 20 HR, 238 RBI and 115 SB. A fuller account of his career can be found at The Greatest 21 Days.

Where he is now: He is the Pro Scouting Director for the Detroit Tigers. This past off-season the Dodgers tried to recruit him away, but he ultimately decided to remain with Detroit.

My memories: Only know him from his card.

Google Autocomplete results: He is fourth when you type Scott Brea, between Scott Breathing Air Compressor, an air purifying compressor, and Scott Breast Cancer Goggles, limited-edition charity biking goggles.

Coming up next: The next profile will be Sid Bream.
