Hobbies are golf, fishing, hunting and sports: The Darren Daulton Foundation hosted an annual golf outing.
Favorite sports announcer is Harry Kalas: Kalas was a
longtime Phillies announcer.
Favorite player as a kid was Johnny Bench: Good role model
for a young catcher.
Pet peeves are traffic jams and ignorance: Ironically, as a
catcher Daulton wore the “tools of ignorance”.
Post baseball career: Daulton died in August after a four year
battle with brain cancer. After his initial diagnosis he created The Darren
Daulton Foundation which provides financial assistance to brain cancer
sufferers.
A nice Tribute. Still can't believe he's gone.
