It's been over a month since I did one of these. Here's some cards I've gotten over the past few weeks.
Ten 1960 Topps cards. Some nice photos here especially the World Series cards. Thanks to Casey Branton, OBC.
I'm very casually collecting the 1978 Mork & Mindy set. If you do have dupes let me know. Thanks Aaron Shirley, OBC.I'm posting these in the order I got them - this was a Diamond Jesters Time Travel Trade pickup. There's another, better one later in this post.Recently Fuji picked up some '50s cards and he had a couple I needed. He generously threw in this Don Mattingly set too!Two vintage cards I got for a modern autograph card. Thanks to Cram2024, TCDB.Three from the 50s from Bob D'Angelo, OBC.This interesting card came from tomilesean, TCDB. I looked up the original photo and Miller Huggins was in the passenger seat, but Topps airbrushed him out. I thought the lines were some kind of Topps attempt to add lens flashes, but apparently they are scratches on the original photo. Unfortunately I couldn't find out where this was, presumably somewhere in Manhattan. Some bright and colorful 1963 Topps, from Andrew Goguen, OBC.The next Time Travel Trade group was more fun. I particularly like the '60s Hollywood vibe on the Trea Turner card.Three fun minor league cards from jamestagli, TCDB.These three came from James in Arizona, who found my site through the OBC directory. The '65 is a high number.Finishing off with a shiny numbered card from MMehler30, TCDB.
OBC has really been working for you.
ReplyDeleteNice cards from all over! Happy 4th of July!
ReplyDeleteThat Mork & Mindy set build is exciting. Good luck! I'm hoping to one day stumble across someone at the flea market who has a complete set of cards & stickers at a good price.
