Player profile: Kim Batiste

I have 23 cards of Kim Batiste. This one is from 1992 Donruss.

Playing career: Infielder Kim Batiste played in 251 games for the Phillies and Giants from 1991 to 1996. In Game One of the 1993 NLCS, he made an error in the ninth inning to allow the Braves to tie the game, then hit a walk-off single in the tenth to win the game for the Phillies. A fuller account of his career can be found at The Greatest 21 Days.

My memories: Only know him from his card.

Where he is now: Anyone know where Kim Batiste is now?

Google Autocomplete results: He is third when you type Kim Bat, between Kim Bates, a fashion expert, and Kim Batten, a retired female American 400 meter hurdles champion. Another prominent Kim Batiste is a project manager in Oregon.

Coming up next: The next profile will be Allen Battle.
