Nice to see some bloggers returning from hiatuses, including JediJeff of 2 by 3 Heroes. We had been accumulating cards for each other of the last couple of years, and he sent me my package this week. Lots of great stuff here.
Some Yankee-heavy late 50s-early 60s vintage goodness.
Three from 1962, including the Clete Boyer that Beckett (and thus lots of others) incorrectly call a reversed negative, when it's really just the right-handed Boyer messing with the photographer.
'63-'65 additions. The Johnny Keane card notes that his hiring by the Yankees was one of the surprise sports stories of the year.
Closing out the vintage section with these.
Moving on to modern, a huge collection of recent A&G.
2017 and 2018 Topps base set needs.
A few miscellaneous recent Yankees. I know it's fashionable to say the '87 design is overused but I don't get tired of it.
how many days until spring?

I packed all these boxes so long ago I forgot what I put in them! :) I believe a lot of those Yankee vintage were scores from a 2 or 3 for a dollar bin. I am certain if/when I get back to that show, there will be many more I can scoop up.
ReplyDeleteIncorrect information from Beckett... I am shocked!
