Wallet Card with a Fifth Avenue Association sign

Recently, Lord & Taylor closed it's flagship location on Fifth Avenue. The store's signage has recently come down, revealing this small sign noting that the store was a member of the Fifth Avenue Association. The Fifth Avenue Association was renamed The Fifth Avenue Business Improvement District in 1993, meaning this sign was at least 26 years old, probably quite a bit older. The organization's main purpose has been to maintain the exclusive and luxury qualities associate with Fifth Avenue, for example working with Donald Trump in 1991 to ban disable veteran street vendors.
