Catcher Bob Lutticken played in the Padres organization from 1987 to 1991, almost entirely in A-ball. In 279 games he hit .215 with 9 HR and 89 RBI.
Like Osvaldo Sanchez, Lutticken is posing at DJ's Sound City, here in front of a cardboard cutout of the Beatles. This was presumably to promote the first release of Beatles albums on CD, which occurred in February of that year. DJ's Sound City was a music-store chain in malls across the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii. The chain was founded in the 1960s, and opened in Spokane in 1977. It closed in 1996 due to competition from big chains.
