Tony Lewis pitched in the Padres organization from 1987 to 1990. In 114 games he went 13-18 with 13 saves and a 4.49 ERA. The Greatest 21 Days has a fuller profile on him, including his comeback from being hit in the face by a line drive in college.
Lewis is posing in front of Harvey's Fine Clothes, which opened the first of several Spokane-area stores in 1955. Originally a men's store, they added women's clothing in 1986, shortly before this photo was taken. A store spokesmen said they would "give women men's-wear tailoring but with a woman's femininity." Meanwhile, the "Miami Vice" look was in for men, with black, white and pastel jackets. Harvey's left the NorthTown mall in 1994. Harvey Jones, the Harvey of Harvey's, was later CEO of Cutter & Buck, resigning after an accounting scandal in 2002.
