Vintage Backgrounds: Jack Russell Stadium

I was struck by the odd looking structure behind Hoerner, I guess this is Clearwater's Jack Russell Stadium, spring home of the Phillies from 1955 to 2003. (Jack Russell had a fourteen-year major league career pitching for six teams, mostly the Red Sox and Senators, in the 1920s and 1930s.)

I guess it is behind the grandstand or something - almost looks like elevated railroad tracks, though there were none near the ballpark.
