Aaron Rowand on baseball cards

Outfielder Aaron Rowand played eleven seasons in the major leagues. The starting center fielder on two World Series champions (2005 White Sox, 2010 Giants), he hit .273 with 136 HR and 536 RBI in 1,358 games. Now a minor league coach for the White Sox, he kindly answered my questions on baseball cards.

"Only story I have is that one of my cards has Paul Konerko on the back.

Favorite is my rookie year card hitting the wall saving a no hitter in the 8th by Danny Wright that was broken up in the 9th.

I did collect cards when I was kid."

Thanks!
